Spanning over 3 generations and over 80 years, “Those Unforgettable Black Rims,” a new play by Lubbock resident Kyle R. Bullock, takes audiences on a journey into some of the hardest, but most touching parts of being a family. Featuring two, interweaving storylines, the play follows the beautiful life and death of Virginia Archer as she falls head over heels for the love of her life. As her family picks up the pieces after her death, Virginia’s story is told in flashbacks and reveals how the love of her life changed everything. This comedy, winner of Lubbock’s 2012 Cordell Green Playwriting Festival, is a family-friendly comedy in its world premier at CATS Playhouse that is sure to keep audiences smiling!
