Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Billy Horschel birdied the 72nd hole of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans for his maiden PGA Tour victory, which vaulted him into the top 50 in this week's world golf rankings.

The 26-year-old overcame a two-stroke overnight deficit and a pair of weather delays and jumped from No. 91 to 49th as a result. D.A. Points, who finished one shot behind Horschel, moved from 68th to 48th.

The top 20 remained largely unchanged.

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, Luke Donald, Brandt Snedeker, Louis Oosthuizen, Graeme McDowell, Steve Stricker, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, Keegan Bradley and Sergio Garcia all held serve at Nos. 1 through 14.

Ian Poulter jumped two places to 15th, dropping Charl Schwartzel and Bubba Watson down to 16th and 17th, respectively. As they did last week, Webb Simpson, Dustin Johnson and Jason Dufner rounded out the top 20 in that order.

Brett Rumford overcame a late stumble and won the European Tour's Ballantine's Championship in a playoff, jumping from 253rd to 122nd in the world, while 21- year-old Japan Tour winner Hideki Matsuyama moved from No. 159 to 108th with his victory at the Tsuruya Open.
