Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Jason Dufner closed with a 68 on Sunday to overtake Jim Furyk and win the PGA Championship. The victory was Dufner's first in a major and helped him move into the top 10 in this week's world golf rankings.

Dufner moved up 13 places to No. 8 in the new rankings.

The top three in the rankings -- Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy -- remained the same, but there was plenty of movement after the season's final major.

Masters winner Adam Scott and U.S. Open champ Justin Rose exchanged places, with Scott inching up to No. 4. Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker remained sixth and seventh.

Dufner was followed by Graeme McDowell, who dipped one to ninth and Henrik Stenson, who moved up a notch to 10th. Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley were both down two places to 11th and 12th, while Steve Stricker stayed put at 13.

Lee Westwood was down two to 14th, while Charl Schwartzel and Ernie Els both fell one to 15 and 16. Ian Poulter held steady in 17th, Louis Oosthuizen tumbled two to 18th and Sergio Garcia was down one to No. 19.

Jason Day closed out the top 20 again this week. Bubba Watson slid four to No. 23 this week.
