Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jason Day posted a 2-stroke victory at the World Cup of Golf on Sunday, which allowed the Australian to climb to 11th in this week's world golf rankings.

Day secured his first win since the PGA Tour's 2010 Byron Nelson Championship and rose seven places in the rankings as a result.

The top 10 spots remained unchanged this week, with Tiger Woods maintaining his No. 1 ranking. Adam Scott, who paired with Day to win the team portion of the World Cup of Golf for Australia, stayed put at No. 2 and was again followed by Henrik Stenson, Phil Mickelson, Justin Rose, Rory McIlroy, Matt Kuchar, Steve Stricker, Brandt Snedeker and Jason Dufner.

Graeme McDowell remained at No. 12, Ian Poulter dropped two places to 13th and Dustin Johnson fell one spot to 14th. Luke Donald jumped two places to 15th, while Zach Johnson, Jim Furyk and Keegan Bradley all dropped two spots, to 16th through 18th, respectively. Sergio Garcia remained at No. 19 and Webb Simpson again rounded out the top 20.
