Recap: Calgary vs. Edmonton

Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - Josh Jooris scored 1:08 into overtime to give the Calgary Flames a 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

Just coming out of the penalty box, Jooris skated down the right wing on a 2- on-1, took a feed from Jiri Hudler and wristed the puck over the glove of Ben Scrivens for the win.

"This is a pretty special group," Flames coach Bob Hartley said. "We never quit."

Joe Colborne had two goals and Lance Bouma scored the other for the Flames, who have won four in a row. Jonas Hiller turned away 17 shots in the win.

Jordan Eberle, Andrew Ference and Matt Fraser all lit the lamp for the Oilers, who were coming off a win on Tuesday that had snapped a nine-game losing streak. Scrivens allowed four goals on 28 shots in the loss.

"It's somewhat frustrating, but I think we can take a couple things out of this game," Oilers coach Todd Nelson said. "On the tail end of a back-to-back, that's a solid effort."

Edmonton scored with 3:54 left in the first on the power play when Fraser banked in a shot off the goaltender from the right side of the net.

Halfway through the second, the Oilers made it a 2-0 game as Eberle's wrister from the slot found the back of the net for his seventh goal of the season.

Calgary got one back with 1:59 to play in the second with a power play marker after Colborne whipped it into the net from the right side.

At 4:28 of the third, the Flames tied the game off a rebound goal from Bouma, but Ference gave his team the lead back five minutes later thanks to a big blast from the left point.

Colborne, though, tied the game once again with 8:05 to play in regulation as Sean Monahan threw the puck on net from the slot and Colborne was in front to put home the rebound.

Game Notes

The Flames continue their six-game homestand on Friday against the Islanders ... The Oilers play in Colorado on Friday ... Edmonton was 1-for-3 on the power play, while Calgary went 1-for-5.
