Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed forward Artem Anisimov to a three-year contract extension, general manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced on Wednesday.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 25-year-old, acquired by the Blue Jackets in the trade that sent Rick Nash to the Rangers last July, recorded 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points in 35 games last season. He lead the team in even-strength goals (10), shootout goals (4) and shooting percentage (16.2).

The Russian-born center has 57 goals and 69 assists over 279 career games with the Rangers and Blue Jackets.
