Bengals DE Evans suspended eight games

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Bengals defensive end DeQuin Evans has been suspended without pay for the first eight games of the 2013 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

He will be eligible to return to the Bengals' active roster on Oct. 28 following the team's Oct. 27 game against the New York Jets.

Evans spent the past two seasons on Cincinnati's practice squad.
