Santa Clara, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco 49ers signed veteran wide receiver Brandon Lloyd to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

Lloyd was originally drafted by the 49ers in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft and racked up 105 receptions for 1,510 yards and 13 touchdowns over three seasons with the club.

The 32-year-old wideout didn't register a snap last season after compiling 74 catches for 911 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games with New England in 2012. The Patriots released Lloyd last April.

Over 10 NFL seasons, Lloyd has totaled 385 catches for 5,695 yards and 35 touchdowns in 128 games, including 88 starts, with the 49ers, Redskins, Bears, Broncos, Rams and Patriots.
