Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins announced on Wednesday the signing of free agent safety Jordan Pugh.

Pugh, a product of Texas A&M, will be making a return to Washington after appearing in 16 regular season games and one playoff game throughout the 2012-13 seasons before being released on Oct. 15.

He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and released by the team on Aug. 31, 2012, later signing with the Redskins on Sept. 10, 2012.

Pugh has played in 43 regular season NFL games over his four-year career, making 50 tackles with an interception.
