Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver/kick returner Brad Smith on Tuesday.

Smith was released by the Buffalo Bills on Friday. He joined Buffalo in 2011 by signing a four-year contract worth $15 million.

He did not appear in a game for the Bills this season as he was on injured reserve all season after suffering a rib injury in the final preseason game.

In 2012, Smith totaled 152 yards and two touchdowns on 14 receptions.

To make room on the roster, the Eagles released wide receiver B.J. Cunningham.
