Recap: Chicago vs. Atlanta

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Mike Dunleavy scored 20 points off the bench to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 91-84 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday at United Center.

Luol Deng tallied 17 points with 11 rebounds while Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson went for 10 points and 12 rebounds apiece for Chicago, which has won three of four. Jimmy Butler added 11 points with five steals.

"We fought hard tonight. It wasn't pretty, but we just found a way. Some nights it is just going to be that way. Sometimes we are going to have to dig deep and make it grimy, I think we did a good job," said Noah.

Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 16 points each but shot just 12-of-34 combined. Mike Scott had 12 off the bench and Kyle Korver made a pair of 3-pointers to extend his record streak of consecutive games with a triple to 103.

Atlanta fell to 2-3 without All-Star center Al Horford, who is out for the season with a torn right pectoral.

Hinrich broke an early 9-9 tie with a 3-pointer with 5:23 left in the first. The Bulls never trailed after that.

Chicago led 26-18 after the first and 50-45 at intermission. Korver's 3 had Atlanta within two late in the opening half, but Deng's 50-foot prayer beat the buzzer.

After an uneventful third quarter, Scott tied it at 67-apiece early in the fourth on a three-point play. Atlanta never got over the hump, however, as Dunleavy potted a 3 on the ensuing Chicago possession.

The lead fluctuated between one and five for most of the period, but every time the Hawks threatened, Chicago had an answer.

It was 80-79 when Dunleavy's jumper ignited an 8-0 Chicago surge which Gibson capped with an alley-oop at 3:15. The Hawks missed their final five shots from the field.

"I think that third quarter was pretty ugly in a lot of ways. Mike (Dunleavy) got hot there and they ran some good stuff for him. That kind of put it over the edge," said Korver.

Game Notes

Chicago won the rebounding margin 52-43 ... D.J. Augustin had 11 points and seven assists for Chicago ... The Hawks shot just 37.2 percent (32-of-86) from the floor and 28.6 percent (8-of-28) from the arc.
