Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - The Utah Jazz officially signed 2013 Naismith Award winner Trey Burke on Saturday, one day before the start of the NBA's Summer League in Orlando.

The Jazz acquired Burke, who led Michigan to the title game of this year's NCAA Tournament while claiming nearly every national player of the year honor during a sensational sophomore campaign with the Wolverines, in a draft-day trade with Minnesota after the Timberwolves took the young point guard with the ninth overall pick.

Under the NBA's rookie salary scale, the Jazz can pay Burke a maximum of $2.032 million during 2013-14 and will hold team options in the final two seasons of the four-year deal.

Burke dished out a school-record 255 assists over 38 games with the Wolverines this past season, while averaging 18.6 points and 3.2 rebounds and shooting 38.4 percent from 3-point range.

Utah also came to terms with its other 2013 first-round pick, French center Rudy Gobert, on Saturday.
