Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - The Brooklyn Nets made the Andrei Kirilenko signing official on Friday.

No terms were announced, but multiple reports indicated the 32-year-old Russian forward signed a two-year deal worth the mini mid-level exception, with the second year a player option.

"We are very pleased to add Andrei to our roster," said Nets general manager Billy King said in a statement. "He is a proven NBA veteran with a unique skill set, and his addition provides our team with increased frontcourt flexibility."

Kirilenko was due to make $10 million with the Minnesota Timberwolves next season, but opted out in favor of a multi-year contract.

Selected by Utah with the 24th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft, the 6- foot-9 Kirilenko played for the Jazz from 2001-2011 before playing one year for the Euroleague's CSKA Moscow. He returned to the NBA this past season, averaging 12.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 64 games with the Timberwolves.

For his career, Kirilenko has averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.9 blocks in 745 games.
