New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The grievance hearing for Alex Rodriguez in his appeal of the 211-game suspension for violating baseball's drug policy ended Thursday, but an attorney for the New York Yankees third baseman claimed Friday that there is evidence that the three-time MVP has not used performance-enhancing drugs in recent years.

Joe Tacopina was a guest on WFAN radio Friday morning and said the evidence presented during the 12-day hearing is "overwhelming that (Rodriguez) went out of his way to make sure he was taking nutritional supplements. Two, three years of emails that we have."

There had been speculation that Rodriguez's legal team would release some of its evidence to the public on Friday. That reportedly won't happen until at least next week.

"We have evidence -- it came out in the hearing and I can't go in detail on it -- that Tony Bosch was discussing with others Alex's nutritional supplementation, legal supplements, nothing to do with PEDs," Tacopina said on the "Boomer and Carton" program.

Bosch is Major League Baseball's central figure in the Biogenesis scandal that led to Rodriguez's 211-game suspension in August. MLB also suspended 12 other players, most for 50 games, for their ties to the Bosch-run South Florida anti-aging clinic accused of supplying performance-enhancing substances.

Rodriguez angrily walked out of the hearing on Wednesday after arbitrator Fredric Horowitz didn't force commissioner Bud Selig to testify. Rodriguez then went on WFAN radio to state his case and denied using PEDs.

Asked point blank by WFAN's Mike Francesa if he had used steroids in the Bosch case, Rodriguez simply answered no and said he should not "serve one inning" of a suspension.

Reports have indicated that Horowitz won't render a decision in the case until January.
