St. Petersburg, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Rays signed infielder Wilson Betemit to minor league contract with an invitation to major league spring training on Thursday.

Betemit, 32, has spent parts of 11 seasons in the major leagues with seven different teams. A career .267 hitter, he was limited to six games with the Baltimore Orioles in 2013 after suffering a torn PCL in his right knee in late March.

The Rays also signed outfielders Justin Christian and Jeremy Moore, catcher Eddy Rodriguez and pitcher Juan Sandoval to minor league deals with invites to major league spring training on Thursday.
