Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Wandy Rodriguez left Wednesday's game in the first inning with tightness in his left forearm.

Rodriguez immediately pointed to his throwing arm after hitting Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman with a pitch. After a brief meeting on the mound with the Pirates training staff and manager Clint Hurdle, Rodriguez headed to the clubhouse.

He was replaced on the mound by Bryan Morris.
