Royals place OF Dyson on DL

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Royals place outfielder Jarrod Dyson on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a sprained right ankle and recalled outfielder David Lough from Triple-A Omaha.

Dyson injured himself on Wednesday when attempting to rob the Angels' Mike Trout of a home run. Dyson is batting .268 with one homer and eight runs batted in through 18 games this season.

Lough made is big league debut last season with the Royals, batting .237 in 20 games.
