Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies announced Monday that pitcher Tyler Chatwood will not make his start on Wednesday night at Miami because of a slight left hamstring strain.

Right-hander Jordan Lyles will be recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs to take Chatwood's spot. Chatwood will likely land on the 15-day disabled list.

Chatwood suffered the injury running the bases in a spring training game Friday. The right-hander went 8-5 with a 3.15 ERA in 20 starts last season with Colorado.

Lyles, acquired in a trade with the Astros during the offseason, is 14-29 with a 5.35 ERA in 72 career games (65 starts) with Houston.

Colorado already is without right-hander Jhoulys Chacin, who is out until late April at the earliest due to a right shoulder strain.
