Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder Cody Ross from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Ross will make his season debut in left field against the Dodgers on Friday after suffering a dislocated right hip while trying to outrun a groundball to first base last August.

The 33-year-old played in 94 games for Arizona last season and batted .278 with eight home runs and 38 runs batted in.

Ross has spent 10 seasons with the Tigers, Dodgers, Reds, Marlins, Giants, Red Sox and D'Backs, compiling a .264 batting average with 130 home runs and 490 RBI in 981 games.

In other roster moves, the Diamondbacks outrighted pitcher Alex Sanabia to Triple-A Reno and designated pitcher Ryan Rowland-Smith for assignment.
