Pinehurst, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Stacy Lewis and Inbee Park, the top two players in the world, have been paired together for the first two rounds of the U.S. Women's Open at Pinehurst No. 2.

Lewis, the reigning Women's British Open champion, has won twice this year and that helped her reclaim the top spot in the women's world golf rankings. Park, the defending U.S. Women's Open champion, has one win this year.

Both players now own 10 LPGA Tour titles. They will play the first two rounds with reigning U.S. Women's Amateur champ Emma Talley. The trio will start on No. 10 Thursday morning at 8:02 a.m. ET and will start Friday at 1:47 p.m. on the first tee.

Karrie Webb, Lexi Thompson and So Yeon Ryu, the fifth, sixth and eighth ranked players in the world, start at the same time as the above trio, but will be off the first tee Thursday and the 10th tee on Friday. Webb is a two-time winner of the U.S. Women's Open and Ryu won the title in 2011.

Lydia Ko and Suzann Pettersen, the third and fourth ranked players in the world, are paired with world No. 10 Cristie Kerr for the first two rounds. That trio will play opposite of the above groups. Ko, Pettersen and 2007 champion Kerr start at 1:47 p.m. Thursday on the first tee and will go off at 8:02 a.m. Friday on the 10th tee.

Another stellar group of world No. 7 Shanshan Feng, No. 9 Anna Nordqvist and No. 17 Angela Stanford are opposite Ko's group on the 10th at 1:47 p.m. Thursday and off the first at 8:02 a.m. Friday.

Among the other notable groups will be U.S. Solheim Cup captain Juli Inkster, a two-time Women's Open champ, playing with Natalie Gulbis and Cheyenne Woods, Tiger Woods' niece. Jessica Korda will play the first two rounds with 1998 winner Se Ri Pak and Caroline Hedwall.

Paula Creamer, the 2010 champion, is paired with 2012 champ Na Yeon Choi and Lizette Salas for the opening two rounds, while Brittany Lang, Morgan Pressel and Yani Tseng will play together on Thursday and Friday. Lang and Pressel shared second place in 2005, and shared low amateur honors that week as well.
