Recap: Bowling Green vs. Western Mich

Bowling Green, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Zach Terrell threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns as the Western Michigan Broncos topped the Bowling Green Falcons. 26-14, in Mid-American Conference play at Doyt Perry Stadium.

Terrell completed 15-of-24 pass attempts for the Broncos (4-3, 2-1 MAC), who have won in back-to-back games. Jarvion Franklin carried the ball a game-high 37 times for 149 yards and a touchdown. Darius Phillips caught four passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.

James Knapke completed 20-of-33 passes for 139 yards and was intercepted once for the Falcons (5-3, 3-1), who had a three-game winning streak come to an end. Andre Givens rushed for just three yards on three carries but had two touchdowns.

Givens got the scoring started, capping off the Falcons' opening drive with a two-yard touchdown run.

Late in the first quarter, Andrew Haldeman converted a 25-yard field goal for the Broncos.

Early in the second quarter, Terrell found Corey Davis for a four-yard touchdown pass, and the Broncos took the lead. Haldeman added to that advantage when he converted a 35-yard field goal, midway through the quarter.

In the final minute of the half, Givens ran in another touchdown, from a yard out, and the Falcons took a 14-13 into the half.

Early in the second half, Terrell hit Phillips on a 63-yard touchdown pass as Western Michigan reclaimed the lead, despite a failed extra point attempt.

The Broncos extended the lead midway through the fourth quarter when Franklin ran 22 yards for the score, sealing the victory.

The Broncos put together 361 total yards, holding the Falcons to 274 to get the win.
