Recap: Wyoming vs. Utah State

Laramie, WY (SportsNetwork.com) - JoJo Natson scored a pair of touchdowns and finished with 181 all-purpose yards, leading the Utah Utes to a 20-3 victory over the Wyoming Cowboys in a Mountain West Conference battle at War Memorial Stadium.

Natson rushed for 99 yards and a score on only three carries and also returned a punt for a touchdown for Utah State (7-3, 4-1 MWC). Kent Myers completed 13- of-16 pass attempts for 150 yards and Hunter Sharp finished with 79 yards on five receptions.

Brian Hill led Wyoming (4-6, 2-4) with 122 yards on 25 carries. Colby Kirkegaard had 212 yards and two interceptions on 20-of-40 passing, while Jake Maulhardt had a game-high 89 yards receiving on six catches.

Nick Diaz finished off a 73-yard drive early in the first quarter with a 20- yard field goal, pushing the Aggies to an early 3-0 advantage.

The Aggies quickly scored again when Watson returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown less than two minutes later.

Natson scored again, this time on a 66-yard touchdown run, before the first quarter came to an end.

Wyoming finally got onto the scoreboard with a 37-yard field goal from Stuart Williams late in the second quarter. The field goal came at the end of a 15- play drive, which lasted nearly eight minutes, but resulted in a gain of only 33 yards.

Diaz finished off the scoring with a 28-yard field goal with just over six minutes to play.

Despite the loss, Wyoming actually had the advantage in total yards (363-356).
