Recap: San Jose St vs. Hawaii

San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ikaika Woolsey threw for 150 yards and one interception, as the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors defeated the San Jose State Spartans, 13-0, in a Mountain West Conference showdown at Spartan Stadium.

Woolsey connected on 9-of-16 passes for the Rainbow Warriors (3-8, 2-4 MWC), while Joey Iosefa rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown. Scott Harding added 54 yards receiving in the win.

As for the Spartans (3-7, 2-4), Joe Gray threw for 305 yards and an interception. Ervin Tyler added 90 yards rushing and Tim Crawley chipped in with 97 yards receiving.

After a scoreless first quarter, The Rainbow Warriors took a 10-0 lead into the half when Tyler Hadden kicked a 36-yard field goal early in the second quarter. Then with 18 seconds left in the half, Iosefa rushed for a 1-yard touchdown.

With just under 10 minutes to play in the game, Hadden connected on a 32-yard field goal to push the Hawaii lead to 13-0, which ended the scoring in the game.

Hawaii won the game despite being outgained, 462-240. The Spartans' three turnovers proved costly.
