After starting their first offensive possession in the second half with excellent field position, the Rams grew their lead to 35-8 when Grayson found Xavier Williams for a 16-yard touchdown hookup not even a minute into the period.

Iosefa ran in a two-yard touchdown for Hawaii with 8:56 left in the third period to cut the Colorado State lead to 35-15, but the Rams answered right back just over two minutes later when Hart plunged into the end zone from seven yards away for the 42-15 advantage.
