Washington got the Huskies on the board first with a 51-yard touchdown run just about two and a half minutes into the game that put the visitors up 7-0 early. It was the second play of the drive for the Huskies.

The Huskies added to their lead when Miles connected with Kasen Williams on a six-yard scoring strike with 50 seconds left in the half for the 14-0 advantage at the intermission.

Washington notched his second rushing touchdown of the game just 45 seconds into the third period. His 60-yard scoring burst put the Huskies up comfortably, 21-0.

Cameron Van Winkle gave Washington the 24-0 advantage with an 18-yard field goal with 3:07 to play in the third.

The Cougars finally got on the board with 9:55 to play in the contest when Falk connected with Dom Williams on a 35-yard touchdown to cut the Washington lead to 31-7.

With just a minute remaining, Falk completed a garbage-time touchdown to River Cracraft for six yards to cut the Huskies' lead to 31-13. The ensuing two- point conversion failed, and the game would end with that score.

Washington gained 188 yards on the ground in the win, and Washington State showed once again it doesn't utilize the run game with just 21 yards in the contest. The Cougars were flagged nine times in the game for a total of 70 yards.
