Recap: Vanderbilt vs. Florida

Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Treon Harris threw for 215 yards and ran for two touchdowns as the Florida Gators topped the Vanderbilt Commodores, 34-10, in an SEC bout at Vanderbilt Stadium.

Harris completed 13-of-21 pass attempts and picked up 49 yards on the ground for Florida (5-3, 4-3 SEC). Matt Jones rushed for a team-high 82 yards and Quinton Dunbar tallied 97 yards on four receptions.

Johnny McCrary threw for only 160 yards and a score on 14-of-35 passing for Vanderbilt (3-7, 0-6). He was also intercepted twice. Ralph Webb the way on the ground (83 yards) and Davis Dudchock racked up 83 yards on five catches. Steven Scheu added 74 yards and a score on five receptions.

The Commodores jumped out to a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter on a 33-yard touchdown pass from McCrary to Scheu.

A 13-yard touchdown run from Kelvin Taylor near the end of the first period evened the score.

The Gators then pulled ahead on a one-yard touchdown run from Jeff Driskel with 8:38 remaining in the second quarter.

Francisco Velez added to the advantage with a 40-yard field goal.

In the first 10 seconds of the fourth quarter Harris scored on a seven-yard touchdown run.

Vanderbilt responded with a 48-yard field goal, but a 33-yard touchdown run from Harris and 25-yard field goal from Velez cemented the victory for Florida.

The Gators scored on five of their six red zone trips. Vanderbilt entered the red zone just once in the game.
