Newark, DE (SportsNetwork.com) - Devon Saddler scored 23 points off the bench to lead the Delaware Blue Hens to an 83-76 win over the Towson Tigers in a Colonial Athletic Association clash at the Bob Carpenter Center.
It marked Saddler's seventh straight game with 20 or more points, tying a school record. Jarvis Threatt tallied 20 points and three steals to help the first-place Blue Hens (14-7, 6-0 CAA) to their eighth straight victory. Davon Usher was next in line with 17 points, followed by Marvin King-Davis with 10.

Towson never led in the contest, as Delaware raced out to a 40-25 halftime lead after holding the Tigers to 6-of-25 shooting from the floor in the opening frame.
UD led by as many as 17 early in the second stanza before the Tigers rallied to trim the margin to four on a couple of occasions. However, a 3-pointer by Saddler gave the Blue Hens a 79-71 advantage with just over a minute to play, and they held on with free throws down the stretch.
With the win, Delaware is off to a 6-0 start in league play for the first time since 1991-92 and the first time ever as a member of the CAA.Game Notes
