Recap: Pacific vs. Portland

Stockton, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Andrew Bock made two crucial free throws down the stretch to give his Pacific Tigers the lead over the Portland Pilots, and the Tigers held on for the 68-65 win in the West Coast Conference showdown at Spanos Center.

Trevin Harris scored 19 points to pace Pacific (15-14, 6-12 WCC), hitting 5- of-8 from 3-point range in the win. Bock finished the game with 11 points, five rebounds and six assists for the Tigers, who ended their regular season by snapping a four-game losing streak.

Bryce Pressley netted 19 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting performance to lead Portland (15-15, 7-11). Thomas van der Mars added 17 points and seven rebounds, while Ryan Nicholas chipped in 10 points and five boards. The Pilots concluded their regular season on a four-game losing skid.

Portland shot 51.9 percent from the floor in the first half, and held a 33-29 advantage as the two teams headed for the locker rooms at the intermission. Pacific connected on 35.5 percent of its field goal tries, including 5-of-12 from 3-point range.

The Tigers rallied in the second half and shot 46.2 percent from the field, netting 5-of-13 from distance and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. Portland couldn't keep up its torrid first-half pace, and shot 37.5 percent in the frame. Pacific outscored the Pilots, 39-32, in the half to gain the lead and the victory.

Pacific outscored Portland from 3-point range, 30-15, and had the edge in bench points, 19-11. The Pilots held the advantage in points in the paint, 28-16.
