Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Halil Kanacevic tallied a double-double with a career-high 27 points and 14 rebounds, as the Saint Joseph's Hawks routed the cross-town rival Drexel Dragons, 75-55, in a non-conference game at Hagen Arena.

Kanacevic did his damage on an outstanding 12-of-13 from the field for the Hawks (5-4). DeAndre Bembry scored 18 points, while Langston Galloway and Chris Wilson each had 11 points.

Tavon Allen led the Dragons (7-3) with 20 points. Rodney Williams cleaned up on the glass with 10 boards.

Drexel shot 42.9 percent from the floor in the first period of play and but missed all five of its 3-point attempts. The Dragons were able to take advantage of Saint Joseph's 10 first half turnovers and carried a 27-23 lead at intermission.

The Hawks came out of the break hot by making 57.6 percent of their shots from the floor over the final 20 minutes, including 5-of-9 from 3-point range, as they pulled away. The Dragons shot a lackluster 33.3 percent from the field and missed all six shots from behind the 3-point line.

The home team had the advantage inside by outscoring Drexel 42-30 in the paint and by winning the rebounding battle, 42-35.
