The Eagles (8-12, 3-6), losers of two straight and four of the last five, were paced by Drew Brandon who registered a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Venky Jois responded with 15 points and Ognjen Miljkovic with 14 and seven boards in the setback.

EWU led by as many as five points early in the first half, but the squad shot only 2-of-11 behind the 3-point line through the opening 20 minutes, leaving them with a 37-31 deficit at the break.

The visitors made only one of their 10 chances on the perimeter in the second half, but at the same time limited the Eagles to only 34.4 percent accuracy from the floor, en route to the 12-point decision.

In addition to converting only 37.7 percent from the field for the contest, Eastern Washington was also forced into 16 turnovers.
