Recap: Air Force vs. Richmond
USAFA, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Terry Allen had 19 points and seven rebounds as the Richmond Spiders easily defeated the Air Force Falcons, 83-60, in a non-conference tilt at Clune Arena.
Kendall Anthony also scored 19 points on 6-of-9 field goal shooting for the Spiders (5-2). Cedrick Lindsay chipped in 16 points and dished out nine assists as well.
Tre' Coggins paced the Falcons (3-3) with 16 points. Marek Olesinski added 14 points, while Justin Hammonds registered 12 points and nine boards.
The Spiders shot 40 percent from the field in the first half, while the Falcons made 45 percent of their tries from the floor. Richmond had six more shot attempts and seven more trips to the free-throw line en route to its 31-26 lead at the intermission.
Richmond came out of the break strong, draining 65.5 percent of its shots from the floor and going 7-of-10 from 3-point range in the second stanza to pull away.
The visitors held the edge in bench points, 33-6. The Spiders also capitalized on second chance point opportunities by outscoring Air Force, 15-7.Game Notes
