Recap: UCLA vs. Colorado
Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyle Anderson nearly recorded a triple- double as the UCLA Bruins pulled away for a 92-74 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes in a Pac-12 contest at Pauley Pavilion.
Anderson finished with 22 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds for UCLA (19-5, 8-3 Pac-12), which has won five of its last six. Jordan Adams tallied 17 points, Bryce Alford sank 4-of-5 from 3-point range to record 14 points, Travis Wear was perfect from the floor (6-of-6) to drop in 13 points and Norman Powell chipped in 10.
Josh Scott netted 20 points and Askia Booker had a double-double of 16 points and 12 assists for Colorado (18-7, 7-5), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Xavier Johnson contributed 14 points and nine rebounds and Xavier Talton tipped in 10 points.
Colorado shot 55.2 percent from the floor and led by as many as 12 points in the first half. UCLA hit an even 50 percent from the floor and entered halftime, trailing 40-36, closing the period on an 11-4 run.
The Bruins dominated the second half, draining 62.5 percent from the floor, including 8-of-12 from 3-point range, to run way with the decision.
UCLA had a 37-27 advantage on the boards and assisted on 25 of 35 field goals.Game Notes
