Recap: Michigan vs. Holy Cross
Ann Arbor, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Glenn Robinson III scored a game-high 23 points as the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders, 88-66, in non-conference action at the Crisler Center.
Nik Stauskas and Caris LeVert each scored 16 points for Michigan (8-4). Stauskas added six rebounds and four assists and LeVert grabbed seven rebounds in the win.
Dave Dudzinski scored 17 points and gathered six rebounds for Holy Cross (6-6), while Justin Burrell scored 14 and notched five assists. Dudzinski was 7-of-16 from the floor in the game, and Burrell hit four of his five 3- point attempts.
Michigan finished the game shooting 55.9 percent from the field, hitting 33- of-59 shots. Robinson tallied 11 points in the first half, including the team's first five. Michigan took a 42-30 halftime lead.
The Wolverines went on a 10-2 run early in the first half that gave the team a nine-point cushion, but on several occasions the Crusaders cut the Michigan lead down to three or four points. The Wolverines went on a run to close out the first half with a 12-point lead.
Michigan outshot Holy Cross from the field in the second half, 53.1 percent to 40.0 percent, as it cruised to the 22-point victory.
The Wolverines won the rebounding battle, 37-28, and committed just seven turnovers.Game Notes
