Poughkeepsie, NY (Sports Network) - Behind a 24-point effort from Chavaughn Lewis, the Marist Red Foxes defeated the Fairfield Stags at the McCann Center, 73-60, to close out the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season.

Fairfield cut its deficit to three on a handful of occasions, including with just under 10 minutes to play following a Barrow jumper, but the Red Foxes ended the threat with nine straight points and led by double figures the rest of the way.

Marist was busy at the foul line with 44 attempts, although it made just 24 of those (.545).
