Grand jurors indicted a Lubbock man who escaped during a court ordered stay at a psychiatric treatment facility last month.

24 year old William Jackson was arrested in connection with a home burglary, just five days after staffers say he pried open a window in his room and left Sunrise Canyon.

Jackson was transferred from jail to the center while awaiting trial on burglary and retaliation charges.

Grand jurors added a felony charge of escape to that list.
