Multi-state manhunt for alleged kidnapper ends in New Mexico

A multi-state manhunt for a Missouri kidnapping suspect ended in eastern New Mexico Wednesday. 

Vincent Shannon White, 47, was stopped by Lea County Drug Task Force agents and Hobbs police as he and the reported victim were traveling on State Road 18 near Hobbs. Task Force Commander Mike Wilson said officers were looking for White's pickup truck in the area of Eunice, based on information from the FBI. 

The woman White has been accused of kidnapping from Arnold, Missouri, was found in the truck unharmed, and is being reunited with her family. 

White was jailed on a federal kidnapping charge.
