A capacity crowd was on hand as the Lubbock Area United Way kicked off its annual fundraising campaign.
The goal, $5.61M, is a 1.7% increase from the amount raised last year.
23 non-profit agencies and those who utilize the services they provide are the beneficiaries of the annual campaign.
