One of Tennessee's most wanted fugitives is now behind bars in Hobbs.

David Jenkins, 46, has been held on out-of-state warrants for murder and other charges. Jenkins was arrested after a Lea County drug task force agent received a tip the suspect was using someone else's identity, and was possibly wanted for killing a man.

Investigators confirmed Jenkins is a suspect in connection with a murder in March in Cowan, Tennessee. Law enforcement officials said that homicide may be linked to white supremacist groups.

Jenkins is awaiting extradition.
