Federal school accountability assessments are now final for public schools across Texas. Most are unchanged from the preliminary 2010 results issued in August.

The federal "No Child Left Behind Act" evaluation measures performance in reading and language, mathematics, and attendance or graduation rates.

Lubbock ISD appealed Monterey High School's "unacceptable" rating under the adequate yearly progress requirements.

Spokeswoman Nancy Sharp said district administrators have now been notified that further review found miscoded data for one student.

Monterey's status has been upgraded to an "acceptable" rating, in the final federal  adequate yearly progress report.
