A new scholarship opportunity is available for students headed to Texas Tech, courtesy of the Terry Foundation.
It's an educational foundation that assists high school students pay for college expenses; including tuition, books, living expenses and the like. Students will earn scholarships based on academic record, leadership potential and financial need.
Since it started in 1986, the foundation has paid for 2,400 students to go to school at seven Texas universities.
