Pheasant Ridge Winery turned a weekend of business into a way to give back to those impacted by the devastation in Oklahoma.

"Come in, donate $5, do a great tasting. That $5 will go to benefit the Moore, Oklahoma people."

Office Manager Delisa Soles said she wanted to take part in the relief efforts in any way she can.

"I mean it was a huge devastation, an EF-5, we don't see that very often," Soles said. "I have family and friends in and around the Moore, Oklahoma area, and I just wanted to see something that could be beneficial for those people, as well as the kids. The school was hit pretty hard. I have a big love for kids, and I wanted to see that restored, and give them some sort of safety and security in that area."

She said any effort, big or small, gets those families in need one step closer to getting back on their feet.

"I mean, they've lost everything," Soles said. "They've lost their homes, they've lost everything they have, and $5 isn't a lot, but when you add up the $5 here and $5 there, it adds up quick. And hopefully that will be enough, with the community's help and surrounding areas, that that will be enough to help them get their lives back on track."

Soles said the proceeds will be sent to the Red Cross, who will then choose how to distribute them.
