This Texas Tech football season is said to be full of changes fans can see at the Jones AT&T stadium.

"When you take a look at texas tech football it's a tremendous atmosphere," said, the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Steve Uryasz.

Red Raiders got to see more than just football for the first game of the season.

Uryasz said after each score Tech shot fireworks.

The Goin' Band also making a change, they moved from Raiderland to the south end zone.

"Our rational for that was basically so that all of our fans could hear them equally," Uryasz said.

and for those last minute fans, he said, all the ticket booths will be available for fans to actually go up and buy tickets and get them right there.

Adding to the list, a whole new approach to customer service.

"With new guest relations areas and a variety of different things to make the fan experience even better," Uryasz said.

There will be many more opportunities ahead to try out the improvements made to the tech football experience. There are five more home games in this season, the next will be September 15, against Lobos New Mexico.
