Two suspects have been charged in connection with a shooting that happened on Saturday. Patrick Corbin, 31, and Kenneth Wall, 33, are accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers found the victim, 32 year-old Austin Voss, with the two men in a vehicle parked at a convenience store at Marsha Sharp Freeway and University Avenue.
Voss was transported to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police said they later found evidence that the shooting may have happened at a home in the 2400 Block of 25th Street.
According to police reports, Voss told investigators both suspects hit him with a hammer and one shot him with a shotgun. The police reports said Voss told detectives the men were angry with him because they thought he stole a gift card and money.
Voss remains hospitalized in critical condition at last report.
