Safety improvements at a dangerous intersection in south Lubbock County was the topic of a public meeting Thursday night.
Representatives from TxDOT outlined plans which include building an overpass on Highway 87 at Woodrow Road.
The project is intended to better manage the increased traffic volume primarily related to rapid enrollment growth in the Lubbock Cooper school district.
