Ohio is a crucial state both candidates are campaigning hard to win.

Eight Lubbock Republicans are in Cleveland to help lock-in votes there for the Romney-Ryan ticket. Lubbock County GOP Vice Chairman Sondra Zeigler said her strike force is targeting the most densely Republican county which is key to winning that state.

"We know that we are not likely to win this county. but the deal is Mitt Romney can't lose it bad or he'll lose the whole stats," Zeigler said. "So we've got to get, we've got to have the get-out-the-vote effort  be successful enough to push that vote up into the mid- 30's percentage-wise. if we can do that Romney will win the state."

This trip for Ziegler and the other Lubbock County Republican party volunteers is in conjunction with Lubbock Congressman Randy Neugebauer's Liberty Project Political Action Committee.
