The ongoing debt ceiling debate has drawn a response from Lubbock County Republicans. Members of the party's executive committee have been working on a resolution they will send to Congressman Randy Neugebauer to request that congress reject any increase to the national debt limit until substantial cuts are made to the federal budget.
The committee is inviting residents to join them in discussing the resolution on Tuesday night. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at McDougal Companies, 5001 West Loop 289.
