City Council members aren't the only ones trying to regroup after the termination of City Manager Lee Ann Dumbauld on Monday.

Nick Wilson, a trustee with the Lubbock Professional Firefighters Association, said from the beginning of Dumbauld's run as city manager, she developed a good relationship with the association, and has done a lot for the fire department.

"If you look at her accomplishments," Wilson said, "the opening  of three new fire stations, with one under construction, the staffing for two-in-two-out, the completion of a five-year pay plan to make us competitive with other fire departments across the state, the list goes on and on."

Wilson said the association is hoping to move forward, and is ready to work with the interim city manager once someone is appointed.
