Lubbock one of three cities to host Papal memorabilia

Artifacts and memorabilia of the late Pope John Paul ll are coming to Lubbock and two other U.S. cities next year.
According to the Lubbock-based National Exhibits Association, the exhibit will have items from throughout the popular pope's life, from his childhood in Poland through his death in 2005.

The exhibit called "I have Come to You Again" opens in Lubbock March 15th. More details, including the other two cities which will host the exhibit, are scheduled to be released at a news conference Thursday.

The exhibit is said to contain some 130 items including historical documents, artwork and personal belongings.

Pope Benedict XVI, beatified John Paul II last year, the last step before sainthood.
