LISD teacher arrested on drug charge, placed on paid leave

The language being used in these comments is so over the top. Pedophilia? Disgrace to the human race? Trying to associate these things with minor cannabis use just shows how desperate and without substance your argument is. Your reasoning is totally one sided, if reasoning is what you would call it. You even admit the erroneous nature of the "law" and yet you still call for his dismissal without knowing all the facts. You need to change your handle "liberty seeker" to "liberty vendetta". What does race or heritage have to do with the crime. From the picture alone, without the name, he could have been considered Anglo, or part Negro. . . . Does it matter if other states or nations allow an action, but are not legal here. Pedophilia is accepted in many countries, but I am glad that it is not acceptable here. If the chain of custody of the evidence is good, and the tests prove it to be an illegal substance, AND either his prints are on the container or traces of THC are in his urine or hair follicles, then discharge him from the payroll, period. . . . I understand that what is legal is not always right, and what is illegal is not always wrong. . . The courts may merely slap him on the wrist, but he MUST forfeit his employment.

As an Hispanic American Mother this man disgusts me!!! I have children at this mans school. He is a disgrace to our race. His lack luster respect for laws not to mention his appearance doesn't do our people any justice. His way of thinking is the reason our hispanic children are failing miserably in todays society. This "do what you want" mentality is a plague amongst Hispanic Americans. The result of which is why my people have the highest obesity rate in the U.S. and an over 40 percent out of wedlock birth rate among hispanic females below the age of 18 yrs. Not to mention that Hispanic Americans have wrecked the health care system and rely heavily on government assistant programs like food stamps more than any other race. My people need to take a stand and get back to being great again. HE BROKE THE LAW!!! I would imagine he was under investigation because of student complaints and inappropriate behavior with children. I don't want a drug user baked out of his mind teaching my kids, poisoning them with skewed logic. My daughter goes to this school and has nothing good to say about this man. It's rumored, but not confirmed that he is dating one of his ex-students whom he met when she was a Senior and started "dating" her 1 year after she graduated. She would have barley been 18 and he would have been 29 or 30. This POT head should go. Everyone is replaceable. Hispanics should speak out against this horrible person. The drug culture represents a culture of death. The death toll from drugs coming across the border to the U.S. is now at 60,000!! These are our fellow hispanic brothers being butchered and beheaded because this teacher thinks its fun to listen to Bob Marley and smoke pot in his bean bag chair. He needs to go. I hope this gets more media attention.

I am surprised that only One teacher has been recently arrested for drugs. I would bet the very job of the LISD superintendent, that if a surprise drug test was done on all personnel TODAY, several hundred LISD employees would test positive for illegal substances in their bloodstream. But an organized syndicate claiming to be a type of labor union, will obstruct investigations and cover up member offenses on school property. While we are at it, I would like to see scores of state or federal enforcers doing random unscheduled drug tests at city hall and LPD. It would be embarrassing to the city if the officer who arrested the drug possessing teacher, tested positive as a user of the same illegal drug.
