An opportunity to celebrate life and help support the mission of hospice care continues through December 23rd.
Hospice of Lubbock's annual "Light up a Life" fundraiser features two ways to honor or memorialize loved ones. For a donation of any amount, you can leave a message to be placed on the tree on display inside the main entrance to the South Plains Mall. Hospice angel ornaments are also available to purchase for a $25 dollar donation.
Rose Chase, with Hospice of Lubbock, said, "Our donations are going to go to an endowment that we're setting up to secure the possibility that we never have to turn anyone away for hospice. And the exciting thing this year is the CH Foundation is doing a matching grant," Chase said.

Hospice of Lubbock is the only nonprofit hospice in the region that is dedicated to both pediatric and adult care.
